Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring alcohol to my picnic?

We do not offer alcohol beverages and most parks prohibit alcohol consumption. Forget Me Not Picnics is not responsible for any alcohol consumption or penalties occurred.

Will I need to pay for a permit?

Sometimes, our clients may need to obtain a park permit for their picnic. This will depend of the City and their parks and rec department rules. We will be happy to help obtain permits for public parks. Please keep in mind that it will take anywhere from 7-14 days to obtain a park permit depending on location, time and availability.

Where can a picnic be set up?

Forget Me Not Picnics is based out of Beamount, CA. and delivers free of charge within a 20 mile radius. Anywhere past a 20 mile radius will be charged .70 cents per mile round trip, up to 60 miles from home base. We set up our picnics at public parks, select venus, and your own private backyard. We require the picnic setup to be no more than 100 yards from vehicle parking access.

What if I need to cancel my picnic?

If for any reason Client cancels the Agreement more than 14 days before the Event, Company will keep the Retainer, but Client will not be responsible for any remainder due. Notification of cancellation must be made in writing by Client and sent via email. If Client fails to supply Notice of cancellation as specified before the Event or cancels within 14 days of the Event, Client shall be required to pay the full estimated balance due.

How far in advance do I need to book my picnic?

We recommend at least 2-3 weeks prior to your event. This also depends on location, for instance public parks require anywhere from 7-14 days to obtain a permit.

Is food and beverages included in my picnic?

Our packages do not include food. We can give recommdations to local chuarcuterie and catering businesses.

What if I'm late to my picnic?

We understand that mishaps such as traffic happen, we ask that you communicate with us via phone call (951)505-6889 or by text message. Communication is key! Unfortunately your picnic will still end at its original scheduled time and we have the right to pack up your picnic, if you are more than an hour late without any refund.

08.

What is the rescheduling process for my reservation?

Clients may reschedule the rental services for any reason up to 14 days before the Event. Notification of rescheduling must be made in writing by Client sent via email. Confirmation of receipt of notification email by Company must be obtained. The rescheduled event must occur within three months of the original date. We will allow only one (1) complimentary reschedule, and there after a $100.00 rescheduling fee will apply. If Client fails to supply written rescheduling notification 14 days before the Event, Client shall be required to pay the full balance due, no reschedule will be allowed, and it shall constitute a cancellation.

9.

What if it rains?

Clients have 48 hours prior to their scheduled picnic event to decide if they would like to relocate their event indoors or reschedule their event.
